MANILA—Jamaal Franklin was as good as advertised in his PBA debut on Thursday night as he led Converge to a 130-115 win against Terrafirma in their Governors' Cup game at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Franklin, who came on to replace Ethan Rusbatch, made a living from beyond the arc, burying seven triples and finishing with 42 points for the FiberXers, who pulled away from the Dyip in the second half by outscoring them, 62-44.

Franklin flirted with a triple-double as he too had 11 rebounds and eight assists with one steal and one block for Converge, which is now 2-0 in the season-ending conference.

Maverick Ahanmisi added 16 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals off the bench as his hot start to the PBA Governors' Cup continues.

Jordan Williams also had a fantastic PBA debut for Terrafirma with 46 points on 17-of-31 shooting including 8-of-15 on threes, six rebounds, three assists, four steals, and two blocks, but Franklin had the last laugh in their shootout.
