MUNTINLUPA—Jojo Lastimosa got the last laugh over Jamike Jarin in their head coaching debuts as TNT clipped Phoenix, 123-119, in their PBA Governors' Cup clash on Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Jalen Hudson caught fire in his PBA debut, finishing with 34 points on six triples, but his contributions down the stretch—a three-pointer and three free throws—helped the Tropang Giga withstand a gallant stand from the Fuel Masters even as the latter lost steam in the end.

Hudson came close to a triple-double as he too had 10 rebounds for the double-double and seven assists with one steal and one block.

RR Pogoy added 21 points on 9-of-11 field goals, six rebounds, and one assist.

Du'Vaughn Maxwell put up 21 points, 19 rebounds, five assists, and five blocks, while Jason Perkins added 20 points and four rebounds for Phoenix.
