MANILA—Already planning of going to Bocaue on Friday night? Reset that for two more evenings.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial announced on Wednesday night that Game 7 of the Commissioner's Cup Finals between Ginebra and Bay Area has been moved to Sunday.
According to Marcial, there was a public clamor to postpone the rubber match a bit, and their wish has been granted.
"Sa kahilingan ng mga fans, ang Game 7 ay gagawin natin sa Sunday," Marcial said at the start of the post-game press conference for Game 6 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Dragons forced the decider after beating the Gin Kings, 87-84.

Despite the postponement to Sunday night, Game 7 is still scheduled for a 5:45 p.m. tip-off at the Philippine Arena in the said town.
Game 6 drew 22,361 fans, the most so far this season, but it is expected to be surpassed as Game 7 will be played in the 55,000-seater Philippine Arena.
