MANILA—Roosevelt Adams and the Kagawa Five Arrows hacked out an 80-75 victory over the Yamagata Wyvans in the 2022-2023 Japan B.League Division 2 on Sunday night at the Yamagata City General Sports Center.
The former Terrafirma Dyip forward tallied 11 points, including a three-point conversion, to go with seven rebounds in 31 minutes as the Five Arrows improved to a 12-29 win-loss slate.
Kyle Richardson top-scored for the Five Arrows with 34 points, while Rhys Vague also ended with double-digits with 14 markers.
James Bell top-scored for the Wyvans with 23 points, while Kevin Cotzer and Thomas Welsh had 13 and 10 markers, respectively. They dropped to 16-25.
Kobe Paras, meanwhile, had three scoreless minutes for Altiri Chiba as they escaped with a 94-93 victory over Nishinomiya Stokes. Chiba surged to 32-9 in the standings, while the Stokes dropped to 18-23.
Greg Slaughter, on the other hand, managed four points in 16 minutes of play as Rising Zephyr Fukuoka bowed to the Koshigaya Alphas, 74-69. Fukuoka now has a 15-26 slate, while the Alphas improved to 30-11.
