PASIG—Converge reclaimed solo first place in the PBA Governors' Cup after drubbing Rain Or Shine, 112-98, on Thursday night at the PhilSports Arena.

The FiberXers pulled away for good in the third quarter, outscoring the Elasto Painters, 32-21, to open an 84-69 lead entering the fourth.

Not helping ROS's cause is the ejection of head coach Yeng Guiao, who incurred two technical fouls for using profane language.

Jamaal Franklin put up a triple-double of 25 points, 13 rebounds, and 15 assists with two steals for Converge, which moved up to 4-0.

Justine Arana added 21 points, eight rebounds, and two assists off the bench, while Abu Tratter chipped in 11 points, 10 rebounds, and one steal.

Michael Qualls put up 34 points, nine rebounds, and two assists for ROS, which remained winless at 0-3.
