MANILA—Looking to go to the Philippine Arena for the Gilas Pilipinas-Lebanon but also worrying about the fare or gas price for you to get there?

Don't worry because the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas can get you there for free!

The SBP announced on Wednesday night that it will be offering free bus rides for ticket holders for the said showdown on Friday night in Bocaue's top sports and entertainment hub.

The SBP is expecting the 55,000-seater indoor venue to be filled with Gilas fans to the rafters, and providing them free rides will surely help the organization attain the said goal.

"The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas wants Filipino fans in full force during the final window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Asian Qualifiers," the SBP said in a statement.

The same buses that would take the fans to the Philippine Arena will be used as they can ride back to Metro Manila for free too.

The free rides are stationed along SM Grand Central in Caloocan and SM North EDSA in Quezon City, and the transportation to the Philippine Arena begins at 2 p.m.
