Jaja Santiago, Saitama on a roll in Japan V.League

MANILA—Jaja Santiago and the Saitama Ageo Medics continued their winning ways in the 2022-2023 Japan V.League Division 1 women's volleyball tournament.

The Ageo Medics notched its fourth straight win following a 26-24, 27-25, 25-22 straight-set victory over the Kurobe Aquafairies on Saturday afternoon.

Santiago had a solid outing of 12 points, built on six attacks and six blocks, as the Ageo Medics stayed at no. 3 spot with a 16-6 win-loss slate.

The Ageo Medics scored their second win over the Aquafairies after their 25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 25-20 victory last Feb. 8 where Santiago had four blocks.

Santiago and the Ageo Medics will be back in action on Sunday afternoon against Denso Airybees.
