MANILA—Justine Sanchez and Tony Ynot have left San Beda.

Dugout Philippines learned from a source on Monday that the two homegrown Red Lions standouts are headed to another school.

Sanchez and Ynot will have to sit for a year before suiting up for the school they would transfer in next year.

But while they are redshirting, both Sanchez and Ynot will play for the Iloilo United Royals in Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League via special guest licenses. The Royals are handled by former San Beda-Rizal High School head coach Manu Inigo.

“They will spend their residency year with the Iloilo United Royals in the MPBL,” the source said.
