Manny Pacquiao capped his game-long brilliance with a game-winner as Team Bulalakaw pulled off a 72-70 win over the Batangas City-Tanduay Rhum Masters in the 2023 MPBL Preseason Invitational on Friday at Lagao Gym in General Santos City.

With the score tied at 70-all, Pacquiao attacked the triple team of the Rhum Masters before creating a space inside the paint for the go-ahead basket with 12 seconds left.

The former senator and presidential candidate tallied a double-double performance of 35 points and 10 rebounds to go with four assists to lead Team Bulalakaw.

Pacquiao's presence was also huge for Team Bulalakaw as they recorded their first win in three matches in the pocket tournament.

On the part of the Rhum Masters, the close defeat spoiled their bid to reach the semifinal round.
