SMB sends Terrafirma crashing back to earth to go 3-0

ANTIPOLO—San Miguel quickly pulled Terrafirma back to earth with a 122-102 rout in their PBA Governors' Cup clash on Friday at the Ynares Center.

Despite conceding the lead for the first time this conference, the Beermen averted another Dyip upset by outscoring them, 38-23, in the second quarter, to go up, 57-44, at halftime.

Terrafirma put up a gallant stand in the third quarter, drawing to within seven, 79-86, late in the period, but SMB never wavered and blasted off from there.

Cameron Clark sizzled for 31 points with 14 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two blocks for the Beermen, who are now 3-0 in the standings.

CJ Perez added 20 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block, while Mo Tautuaa chipped in 17 points on a perfect 6-for-6 field-goal shooting with eight rebounds and two blocks.

Jordan Williams made 30 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and three blocks for the Dyip, who dropped to 1-2.
