Bulacan spoils Iloilo's MPBL comeback to go 2-0

PASIG—Bulacan used a solid fourth-quarter attack to give Iloilo a rude welcome back to the MPBL with an 85-76 win on Friday night at the Ynares Sports Arena here.

The Kuyas outscored the United Royals, 27-17, in the fourth quarter to steal the win in a tight encounter.

Jerick Nacpil continued to lead the way for Bulacan, which is now on top of the Northern Division standings at 2-0, as he put up 21 points, 15 rebounds, and three assists, while Kentoy Segura added 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting and two assists off the bench.

JR Sumido had 17 points on a perfect 4-for-4 from three-point range, two rebounds, one assist, and one steal for Iloilo.
