MANILA--Is Lyceum of the Philippines Junior Pirates standout Lionel Matthew Rubico heading to Taft?

In his Instagram story on Monday night, the Lipa native was seen wearing a green "La Salle" shirt while inside a car.

Although it's unclear if it means something, it has long been revealed that the Green Archers are among those who are interested in recruiting Rubico ahead of the 2023 college basketball season.

As of the end of the NCAA eliminations, the 5-foot-11 guard said that he has yet to commit to a certain college.

However, taking a road trip from the city of General Trias to (Governor-)General Taft Avenue is not that far-fetched of an idea as Rubico first attended La Salle-Lipa before he was recruited by Lyceum-Cavite.

Rubico is best remembered for his 43 points and 13 rebounds performance in Lyceum's 100-97 loss to Perpetual Help.
