MANILA--Another Saturday night, another comeback win by Quezon.
The Huskers needed another endgame rally to take down the Oriental Mindoro Disiplinados, 85-80, in their MPBL meeting at the Bataan People's Center in Balanga.
Down 56-66 after the third quarter, Quezon outscored Oriental Mindoro, 29-14, in the final period to steal the victory.
Ximone Sandagon led the Huskers, who now lead the Southern Division at 2-0, with 17 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block, while RJ Minerva added 14 points, 14 rebounds, one assist, and six blocks off the bench.
Kerr Bangeles also had 17 markers for the Disiplinados, but he was held to only three points in the second half as they fell to 0-2.
