ANTIPOLO—Another night, another triple-double from Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

The TNT import completed a 10-10-10 stat line for the second straight game and his team opened its PBA Governors' Cup semifinal series against Meralco with a 110-80 win on Friday night at the Ynares Center.

In particular, the former NBA veteran finished with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists with two steals and two blocks to lead the Tropang Giga to a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five series.

Hollins-Jefferson already flirted with the triple-double by halftime, tallying 17 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists after the second quarter even as TNT sustained its hot start to take a 57-45 lead.

He would complete his triple-double by the third quarter, and when the outcome was already settled when his team dropped 35 points on Meralco in the said period, he sat out the entire fourth quarter.

RR Pogoy added 21 points, two rebounds, and one steal for the Tropang Giga.

KJ McDaniels was held to only 12 points but he too had 14 rebounds and two assists to lead the Bolts.
