MANILA - First, Ateneo, then the Philippines and Asia. Next stop: India.
Kerala will welcome another Filipinas heading for her overseas stint as Camille Rodriguez made the move to Indian Women's League outfit Lords FA, based in the city of Kerala.
The IWL club made the transfer official Tuesday night Philippine time, confirming the rumors online from various India-based sports sites, buffing up their midfield for their maiden stint in the league.

Rodriguez, 28, made her mark in the women's football scene where she earned several individual accolades with the Ateneo Blue Eagles and eventually finding his way to the national team, where she currently has 42 caps and 11 goals.
"To keeping dreams alive, with a whole lot of help from above," Rodriguez quipped in her Instagram story with the Lords FA's post confirming the transfer.
This is, however, not CamRod's first time in India, as she saw action in the 2022 AFC Women's Asia Cup in Mumbai, helping the Filipinas for a joint-third finish and getting their first ever FIFA Women's World Cup ticket.
Lords will make their IWL debut after upsetting fellow Kerala-based club and current IWL champions Gokulam Kerala last October in a 5-2 final in the Kerala Women's League, ensuring the ticket in the national championship.
Rodriguez and co will try to continue their momentum in the one-month league starting with an April 27 battle with Pondicherry-based team Celtic Queen FC.
