Christian Standhardinger remains PBA Govs' Cup BPC frontrunner

MANILA--Christian Standhardinger is still on top of the PBA Governors' Cup Best Player of the Conference race even as he widened his lead over CJ Perez.

Up to the semifinals, the Ginebra center is now up to 44.2 average statistical points, improving the 42.8 he had after the eliminations.

The San Miguel wingman is second but now with 38.3 SPs until the semis, down from 39.3 during the eliminations.

Standhardinger currently averages 23.5 points, 10.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.2 blocks a game for the Gin Kings in 15 games.

Perez, on the other hand, averages 20.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.7 steals a night for the Beermen also in 15 games.

Jamie Malonzo is third in the BPC race with 34.7 SPs, RR Pogoy is fourth with 34.7, and Scottie Thompson, the reigning BPC for the season-ending conference, is fifth with 34.3.
