Marvin Trabado, Remelyn Zeneza rule YOLO Run

MANILA—Marvin Trabado was a cut among the rest after winning the 21-kilometer category of the YOLO Run in style on Sunday.

Trabado won the race after clocking in at one hour, 30 minutes, and 14 seconds, way ahead of second placer Matthew Crisostomo, who finished at 1:40:36.

Reynaldo Castro won the bronze after clocking in at 1:43:06.

Meanwhile, Remelyn Zeneza pulled away late to win the women's race.

Zeneza finished at 1:58:03, barely two minutes ahead of first runner-up Maritoni Rafael, who clocked in at 2:00:15.

Zaira-Emerald Manuel completed the podium finishers after taking third place at 2:06:30.

In the 10-kilometer race, Ando Oitspuu won the men's race with a time of 34 minutes and 35 seconds, while Alesandro Luciano came in second with 37:01, and John Paul Sa finished third with 39:19.

In the women's division, Femia Ib-Ib topped the race with 46:15, Francheska Alejandro was second with 47:55, and Iyah Vanson finished third with 48:11.

The runners traversed through the historic Intramuros district as well as its suburbs during the race.
