MANILA--Pasig wasted no time in dealing a seemingly tired Paranaque squad a 96-58 beating in their MPBL showdown on Saturday night at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena.

Pasig was solid on both ends of the floor, opening a lead as high as 43 points early in the fourth quarter even as the team held Paranaque, which was playing for the second time in three nights, to only 38 points in the first three periods.

Shane Menina led Pasig, now up to 3-1 in the team standings, with 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals off the bench.

Ryan Costelo and Kenny Rocacurva each added 17 markers.

Jielo Razon fired 19 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and one steal for Paranaque, which fell to 1-4.
