MANILA—Poy Erram played his best game so far in the PBA Governors' Cup Finals, flirting with a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds alongside two assists, three blocks, and one steal in Game 3 on Friday night.

While it seemed like the TNT center, who bounced back after two off-nights to start the series, was unbothered by the Ginebra fans' trash talks, he took exception at some hecklers hurling a choice word to his mother.

Erram went to the table officials to complain about the said fans' taunt, which for him is a no-no.

"Kung babastusin nila ako, OK lang... Basta wag nilang idadamay magulang, anak, at asawa ko kasi pag idamay nila, ibang usapan na yun," Erram said as he turned emotional.

On Saturday, however, a certain video which confirmed Erram's claims went viral on social media.

The video showed Erram staring at the fans, who seem to be near the video owner's area inside the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, who shouted, "Erram b***! Erram, b*** nanay mo!"

Erram felt that calling his mom such word was too insensitive considering that she is currently recovering from a stroke.

"Alam ba nila kung anong nangyari sa magulang ko? Ang magulang ko, nasa [United] States, [nagka-]stroke. Hindi nila alam kung anong nangyari," Erram continued. "Parang bastos na ganun yung gagawin nila."

Erram hopes that the PBA will take action on the too rabid fan taunting.

"Kung iba-ban nila ako, sige. Basta gawan nila ng paraan na maprotektahan yung player," said Erram, who was already in tears.
