PASAY—Echo set up a grand finals showdown against Blacklist International in the MPL Philippines Season 11 with a tight 3-2 win against RSG Slate Philippines in the lower bracket finals on Sunday at the SMX Convention Center here.

In an up-and-down battle, Echo emerged victorious in the end as it avenged its upper bracket semifinal defeat to RSG PH.

With the result, Echo will also join Blacklist in the MSC, and RSG PH, the erstwhile Southeast Asian champs, would have to vacate their title in the most painful way possible.

Echo and Blacklist will dispute the national championship later Sunday, where Blacklist looks to repeat its Season 10 finals dominance over Echo.
