PASAY—Echo Philippines stayed alive in the MPL Philippines Season 11 Playoffs after taking down Bren, 3-1, in the lower bracket semifinals on Saturday at the SMX Convention Center here.

Echo broke free in Games 3 and 4 after Bren equalized the best-of-five series with a Game 2 win.

Echo played dominantly in the closer, forcing Bren to play defense most of the game, which bore little fruit.

Echo, the second seed in the playoffs, will face the losing side in the upper bracket finals between Blacklist International and RSG Slate Philippines in the lower bracket finals on Sunday.

Blacklist and RSG PH will face off later Saturday.

On the other hand, Bren's stint came to a painful end as it became the first team to get knocked out of the lower bracket playoffs despite entering the postseason as the top seed, which meant an outright seat in the upper bracket semis.

Bren will now don the Sibol colors as the team travels to Cambodia for the Southeast Asian Games.
