TIAONG—The Philippines will be well-represented on June 19 as two Filipino fighters will see action at Brave CF 71 in Riffa, Bahrain.

Kenneth Maningat and Ruel Pañales, who have good starts to their professional mixed martial arts careers, are up for their toughest assignments yet in the said fight card.

Maningat, sporting a 3-1 record, takes on undefeated Abdulla Al-Yaqoob (4-0) of Qatar in the bantamweight division.

Maningat won three straight fights since turning pro, but he looks to bounce back after suffering a submission loss to Asu Almabaev at Brave CF 66 last November.

Pañales, on the other hand, battles fellow unbeaten fighter Maysara Mohamed of Egypt in the flyweight division.

Pañales won his first four pro bouts, while Mohamed won his first six before settling for a draw against Frieh Harahsheh at Brave CF 65 last October.

The main event will see Omar Solamanov taking on Ilyar Askhanov in a featherweight title eliminator.
