PASIG—College of Saint Benilde prevailed against an undermanned La Salle team, 88-76, in the battle of La Sallian squads as part of the SBP Invitational Games on Wednesday night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

The Blazers preserved a hot start as they kept the Green Archers at bay despite mounting a comeback attempt.

Migs Oczon exploded for 29 points, while Miggy Corteza and Zenrie Jarque each added 17 points for CSB.

EJ Gollena made 19 markers for La Salle, which opted to give its main men a break from action in this college preseason affair.
