Eric Camson outshines Allein Maliksi as Terrafirma turns back Meralco

MANILA—Eric Camson played probably his best game as a pro as he led Terrafirma to a 107-102 win against Meralco in their PBA on Tour game on Sunday night at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Camson fired 30 points on 12-for-16 shooting including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc to lead the Dyip, who turned things around in the third quarter after outscoring the Bolts, 30-18, to go up, 84-73.

Meralco still put up a comeback threat after cutting the lead down to three, 105-102, with 53 seconds left, but JP Calvo hit a clutch layup with 32 seconds to go to ice the game.

Camson also tallied nine rebounds, two assists, one block, and two steals for Terrafirma, while Juami Tiongson added 21 points, six assists, and four steals.

Allein Maliksi fired 33 points on 10-for-16 field goals including 6-of-7 on threes, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals, Cliff Hodge added 24 points, 15 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two assists, and Bong Quinto put up 16 points, 10 assists, three rebounds, and one steal for Meralco.
