MANILA—Juan Gomez De Liaño is taking his talents to Seoul and is joining Seoul SK for the upcoming KBL and EASL season.
As announced on Tuesday, the six-foot-two combo guard is joining the Knights on a three-year deal. The third season is a player option.
Gomez De Liaño played for the Lithuanian club BC Wolves last season, becoming the first Filipino to enter the European pro basketball circuit.
Seoul SK finished runner-up to Rhenz Abando's Anyang last KBL season, and both are expected to be favorites anew for the championship next season.
Both teams will also see action in the EASL, which means Gomez De Liaño gets to play either Ginebra or TNT sometime soon depending on the group draw outcome.
