PASIG—Meralco stole the thunder from Harvey Carey's special night after ripping TNT, 108-90, in their PBA on Tour battle on Wednesday night at the Ynares Sports Arena.

Right after Carey's number 4 jersey was officially retired, the Bolts spoiled the party, especially in the fourth quarter where they dropped 34 points on the Tropang Giga to pull away for good.

Allein Maliksi fired 28 points on 10-for-15 shooting including 5-of-8 from long range, four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block off the bench for Meralco.

Bong Quinto added 19 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, and one steal, while Cliff Hodge and Toto Jose each got double-doubles with 10 points each and 13 and 12 rebounds, respectively.

Glenn Khobuntin fired 28 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals for TNT, which remains winless in preseason play.
