ROS comes alive in Q3 to edge Phoenix

TIAONG—Rain Or Shine blasted off in the third quarter and eventually took down Phoenix, 113-104, in their PBA on Tour game on Friday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

The Elasto Painters took control of the game after outscoring the Fuel Masters, 41-24, in the third to take a 91-78 lead entering the final frame, where the former eventually held off the latter.

Andrei Caracut and Nick Demusis each scored 15 points to lead Rain Or Shine, while Santi Santillan tallied a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds with two assists and three steals.

Raul Soyud made 24 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and two steals, while Larry Muyang added 20 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists for Phoenix.

Kurt Lojera did not see action in Antipolo as he joined Siomai King for the PSL D2 Super Cup here.
