PASIG—Terrafirma broke loose in the second half to score a huge giant slaying against TNT through a 104-92 win in their PBA on Tour game at the Ynares Sports Arena on Wednesday night.
Kevin Ferrer's foot injury just before halftime might have been the motivating factor for the Dyip as they erupted for 42 points in the third quarter—more than their entire first-half output—to take an 80-67 lead against the Tropang Giga.
Terrafirma extended its lead to as high as 28 points early in the fourth quarter before TNT cut it down to a respectable margin in the end.
Juami Tiongson led the Dyip with 21 points, two rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block, while Ed Daquioag went 6-for-6 from the field for 16 points with six rebounds, three assists, and one block.
Glenn Khobuntin put up 25 points, nine rebounds, and one assist for the Tropang Giga.
