MANILA—Allein Maliksi continued to put up splendid performances in the ongoing PBA on Tour preseason play, this time wowing his alma mater in a 106-93 Meralco win over Ginebra on Wednesday night at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.
The former King Tiger led the Bolts with 23 points with seven rebounds, two assists, and three steals as they preserved a hot start to rip the Gin Kings.
Bong Quinto added 22 points, one rebound, and three assists for Meralco, while Raymond Almazan put up 13 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, and one block.
Von Pessumal fired 26 points with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals for Ginebra, while Aljon Mariano, the other former UST main man in the game, had a quiet eight points with four rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one block.
