CAPAS--Alvin Pasaol stole the show from Robbie Herndon as the former led Meralco to a 96-83 win against NLEX in their PBA on Tour game on Wednesday night at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

The former Manila Chooks star played like his old 3x3 self as he buried seven triples as the Bolts caught the Road Warriors struggling in form.

Pasaol finished with 25 points, easily his best performance in the professional 5-on-5 ranks, and five rebounds for Meralco.

Raymond Almazan added 12 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks.

Aaron Black went scoreless in his first PBA on Tour action, but he played the facilitator with nine assists without a turnover on top of five rebounds and one steal.

Don Trollano led NLEX with 17 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and one steal, while Sean Anthony and Matt Nieto each chipped in 15 points with Anthony also tallying 11 rebounds for the double-double.

Herndon got the start in his first game as a Road Warrior and finished with 10 markers as well as Kevin Alas.
