PASIG--Arvin Tolentino took over for NorthPort in the end as they fought back to beat Terrafirma, 104-100, in their PBA on Tour battle on Sunday night at the Ynares Sports Arena.
Tolentino scored the Batang Pier's last seven points in the game, starting with the go-ahead three-pointer with 1:35 left as the Dyip, who rallied from a slow start to even take the lead, 99-97, were held to only one point, a split from Isaac Go, the rest of the way.
Tolentino led NorthPort with 28 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two blocks, while Paul Zamar added 21 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
Juami Tiongson made 25 points, three rebounds, five assists, and one steal for Terrafirma.
