MANILA—GenSan cast a dry spell upon Pasay Voyagers at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena  and walked away with an 89-55 win in their MPBL battle on Saturday night.

Coming to the game as one of the hottest teams in the league, the Voyagers were held to only 6 pts in the first quarter of the game as opposed to the 31-point production of the Warriors.

A 3-point jump shot from Laurenz Victoria with 5:11 left in the first half, also only their first made 3-pointer of the game finally put Pasay in double digits, but at that time, GenSan already scored 46 points in the game.

While the Warriors' scoring slowed down in the second half, the outcome was already settled by then.

Veteran ex-PBA player John Wilson was named the best player of the game, putting up 17 points and shooting 4/7 from behind the arc along with one rebound and one steal for GenSan, which moved up to 13-4 with its fifth straight win.

Brian Hilario had 15 points, four rebounds, and one steal for Pasay, which fell to a tie with Pasig City MCW Sports for the fifth spot in the North with a 12-6 record.
