MANILA—NLEX turned the tides in the fourth quarter to clamp down NorthPort, 95-87, in their PBA on Tour match-up on Wednesday night at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.

The Road Warriors outscored the Batang Pier, 28-21, in the last 12 minutes to pull away for good.

NorthPort actually had a chance to pull off a comeback, especially with Arvin Tolentino began heating up late, but he missed three free throws off a Kevin Alas foul that all but sealed their doom as head coach Bonnie Tan and team manager Pido Jarencio, both UST alumni, failed to win in their homecoming.

Sean Anthony led NLEX with 25 points, eight rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block, while Clint Doliguez added 14 points, five rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one block.

Paul Zamar led NorthPort with 22 points behind five triples, nine rebounds, and six assists.
