MANILA—Pasig TNT barely missed out on making the main draw for the FIBA 3x3 Macau Masters after going 1-1 in their qualifying draw assignments on Saturday at the Wynn Palace in Macau.

Pasig TNT began its campaign on a sour note after bowing to Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy, 14-22.

Pasig could not sustain a hot start that saw them racing to a 5-1 lead two minutes into the match as Ulaanbaatar finished the game on a 12-2 run within the final four and a half minutes of the game.

Marko Dugosija, though, did not bring the game to full time as he nailed a two-pointer at the 8:50 mark of the supposed 10-minute affair to finish off Pasig.

Pasig bounced back with a 21-19 win against Doha, but how Pasig won the match costed them a shot at sneaking into the main draw.

Pasig blew a 19-11 lead as Doha rallied to force overtime, but Almond Vosotros saved Pasig's cause with a deuce to finally take down Doha.

Ulaanbaatar still sealed its place in the main draw after downing Doha, 20-17.
