Paul Lee fires 7 treys as Magnolia zaps Meralco

MANILA—Paul Lee waxed hot on Sunday night to lead Magnolia to a 121-101 rout of Meralco in their PBA on Tour game at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Lee needed only 19 minutes off the bench to fire 28 points as he went 7-for-9 from beyond the arc for the Hotshots, who won for the seventh straight time this preseason after holding the Bolts to just 18 points in the first quarter while playing consistent offense all game long.

Jio Jalalon added 18 points, one rebound, six assists, and one block for Magnolia, while James Laput put up 14 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, and one block.

Diego Dario also lit it up from 22 feet out as he fired six triples for 22 points with three rebounds, and three assists for Meralco.
