MANILA—San Miguel made quick work of an undermanned TNT team and walked away 111-74 winner in their PBA on Tour game on Friday night at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
An eight-man Tropang Giga squad could not hang on against the Beermen as the latter pulled away for good in the second quarter after outscoring the former, 26-13, to open a 55-36 halftime lead and never look back from there.
Marvin Lee led SMB with 22 points on five threes, three rebounds, and two assists, while Allyn Bulanadi and Jericho Cruz each added 20 points.
Rodney Brondial chipped in a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds with two assists, one block, and one steal.
Jaydee Tungcab fired 30 points, five rebounds, three assists, and five steals, while Carl Cruz added 21 points, eight rebounds, and two assists for TNT.
