MANILA - Prouder and even louder.
ECHO Proud make sure that they have their season debut on a high note as they dismantle a new-look GameLab team to open MLBB Developmental League - Philippines (MDL-PH) Season 2 on Tuesday.
The defending MDL-PH champions did quick work of their fellow finalists in the S1 Finals rematch, with the latter missing renowned EXP Laner Jan Bradford "XBOCT" Amande, who is in Iasi, Romania with SIBOL for the IESF World Esports Championships.
Lance Christian "Imbading" Sibal stands-in for XBOCT, while ECHO Proud boasted their MDL championship lineup with Santi "Santi Sucre" Noble replacing the already-promoted Jaypee "Jaypee" dela Cruz.
The orcas demonstrated a dominant first game with an 13-1 outing over the yellow-and-black squadron, with the latter's only kill from Imbading against James "Jeymz" Gloria with his X.Borg's Last Insanity ultimate.
Jankurt Russel "Kurt" Matira's Pharsa bagged the MVP honors with a clean 4/0/6 outing, contributing to 77 percent of all ECHO Proud kills.
ECHO repeated their Game 1 performance with a better Game 2 as they dismantle GameLab, 21 kills to just four, getting all the available neutral objectives and only losing two towers in just over 14 minutes.
Prized gold laner Jhonville "OUTPLAYED" Villar executed a near perfect game with eight kills and six assists in his name with the Brody.
ECHO proud will try to end the week on high as they take TNC Z4 on Thursday, while GameLab will seek their first win against newcomers RRQ Kaito tomorrow.
