MANILA—Another Chinese Taipei team, another loss for Rain Or Shine.

Rain Or Shine got swept by Taiwan's two representatives to the Jones Cup, this time bowing to Chinese Taipei White, the national team program's developmental team, 89-79, on Sunday night at the Taipei Heiping Basketball Gymnasium.

Just like against Chinese Taipei Blue on Saturday night, ROS conceded a ton of points to Chinese Taipei White, 30 specifically, in the first quarter alone, setting up Chinese Taipei White's breakaway. By the end of the third quarter, Chinese Taipei White had already opened a 75-55 lead against ROS.

ROS once again closed the game on a strong note, but like against Chinese Taipei Blue, Chinese Taipei White's win was already settled then.

Adam Hinton led Chinese Taipei White, now 2-0 in the tournament, with 17 points, four rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block, while Jian Ting-Jhao added 15 points, two rebounds, and one assist.

Ange Kouame put up 15 points, nine rebounds, two blocks, and two steals to lead ROS, which dropped to 0-2.

The other games saw Iran making a good Jones Cup debut with a 69-63 win against Qatar and UC-Irvine delivering UAE a 109-49 beating.
