And this is what exactly happened as Euphoria Esports bows down to RRQ Kaito to wrap up Week 1 of the MLBB Developmental League - Philippines (MDL-PH) Season 2 on Thursday..
RRQ made one change in their lineup, replacing Janus "Y4nusu" Badando with former VVV Esports jungler Mark Venedict "MarkTzy" Pagaduan, while Euphoria kept their main five.
Euphoria however have other ideas in mind as they gave RRQ Kaito a 19-to-12 beating in the first game within 18 minutes capped by Joshua "Ryujin" Ramos' 7/1/10 performance with his Valentina, while Karl Rouvic "Karl" Devosora's Kaja on roam did not paid off with eight deaths.
The King of Kings soared high in the second game as they executed a 13-5 win over the boys in black and purple, as Justin Ahron "Shocker" Guanga's Novaria contributed four kills and six assists.
Edferdz "Ferdz" Fernandez's Paquito contributed two kills and five assists, while Vincent "Venogo" Orogo's Fredrinn led Euphoria with 2.0 KDA ratio.
Euphoria went for an EXP lane Fredrinn and a roam Khufra in the rubber match to go along with Beatrix, Valentina, and Lancelot, while Shocker and Karl returned the Novaria and Kaja together with Edith, Karrie, and a pocket pick Helcurt jungle for MarkTzy.
The pocket pick worked as they endured 24 minutes for a 13-to-7 victory, with Shocker's Novaria dealing five kills and seven assists, while MarkTzy gave four kills and five assists to his name, including a clutch kill against Venogo's Lancelot in the lord contest that gave them the series win.
The Kings of Kings will seek for their second win of the regular season against AP Bren Hornets on Wednesday, while Euphoria will try to bounce back againt RSG Mistah on Tuesday..
