MAKATI - Blacklist International secured their second win in a row as they give AP.Bren with their third straight loss, two games to one, to end the first half of MPL Philippines Season 12 on Sundau.
AP.Bren arrived to the game without any major changes despite losing against ECHO in a sweep, while Blacklist kept their main five after dealing a 2-1 victory against TNC Pro Team.
The Agents took the first game with a dominant 13-3 outing with Renejay "Renejay" Barcase playing the Angela roam and assisting six times, and the team capitalizing on a more squishy AP.Bren five with Kyle "KyleTzy" Sayson's Helcurt on the jungle.
But it was Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap's Edith who did the most damage from the start, getting an MVP-worthy 8/2/1 KDA to lead Blacklist in the 17-minute match.
The Hive returned in the second game with a more comvincing 14-6 scoreline with them getting all but one turtle in the objectives department, while only losing one turret in 11 minutes.
Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo's Minotaur grabbed rthe MVP nod with 0/1/12 KDA, while skipper Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel registered three kills and nine assists with the Novaria.
The Hive arrived in Game 3 with an early game advantage with all three turtles going to their side, but Blacklist held on, getting two of three lords in 21 minutes of play.
Both teams went head to head in the 20th minute clash but a prolonged team fight resulted in Marco "Super Marco" Requitiano's Bruno defending alone against Renejay's Novaria anmd Kiel "Oheb" Soriano's Brody to no avail, as the Agents claimed the third game, 15 kills to 11.
Blacklist ended the first half of the season in third with 5-2 record and 12, while AP.Bren finished in fourth with the same points despite a 3-4 standing, but lose the head-to-head result.
The Agents will see the Orcas of ECHO next to open the second half of the season, while AP.Bren will try to arrest their lose skid against TNC Pro Team, both on a Friday.
