Minana Archives nabs first win vs. hapless Blacklist LTX

by Drew Malihan

MANILA - Minana Archives lists their first win of the MLBB Developmental League - Philippines (MDL-PH) Season 2 as they deal Blacklist Academy Lunatix their third loss in a 2-0 sweep on Tuesday.

Minana endured more than 20 minutes trailing behind the Academy in a close Game 1 affair but capitalized on a missed opportunity by Kyle Dominic "Dominic" Soto's Esmeralda during the final lord dance with Salvick "Kouzen" Tolarba and Josh Ian "Daizo" Alburo dealing most of the damage..

It was roamer Martin Kian "Sanaaa" Viray who took the MVP nod with a 2/1/10 performance with his Khufra including soaking up the damage dealt in the final teamfight that gave way  for Kouzen and John Clarence "Milktea" Cabaron to go straight to the base to take a 1-0 lead.

Both Minana and Blacklist figured out in a long, back and forth second game lasting 32 minutes but the lack of continuous damage from Blacklist's five of Lesley, Kaja, Terizla, Martis, and Yve bite them as clutch plays from Sanaaa denied them of any takeover opportunities.

The Minana five took care of the lord without any contest and woo Blacklist LTX to defend to no avail as Kouzen dealt damage straight to the base in the final siege.

It was Daizo's Novaria who took the MVP nod with a 100 percent kill participation, thanks to his consistent Astral Echos to give vision to his teammates.

Minana will deal with Maharlika on Wednesday as the look to build momentum in Week 2, while Blacklist Lunatix, now 0-3, will try to look for answers against ECHO Proud on the same day.
