MANILA - Euphoria's lose is Minana Archives' gain as the latter puts up a 2-1 win over the former to end their MDL Philippines first half campaign on a high note, Thursday
Both teams did to change their lineup despite contrasting results from their last games, with Euphoria coming off a tough 1-2 defeat against ECHO Proud and Minana Archives winning last Wednesday against RRQ Kaito.
The Minana Esports-backed side escaped Euphoria in a 28-minute close battle which saw both almost losing all but one Minana Archives turret and five lords between the two teams.
Josh Ian "Daizo" Alburo's Gord eventually led Minana to get the first game, with the midlaner registering four kills and five assists while only falling three times.
Euphoria bounced back in the second game in a commanding 11-3 victory in under 12 minutes as they frustrate Salvick "Kouzen" Tolarba's Beatrix by taking him down four times while counterpart Jan Carl "Shizou" Valdez getting a favorable lane battle with the Bruno.
It was Vincent "Venogo" Orogo's Lancelot that led Euphoria to force a third game with four kills and four assists while Joshua "Ryujin" Ramos puts up a 4/0/3 KDA with the Pharsa.
Both teams saw a closer third battle which saw Venogo using his trusted Lancelot against a more durable Baxia from Gellert Mackenzie "Briskzzz" Pangilinan ..
But a takedown to Christian Francis "HEADS" Morada's Terizla began the end for Euphoria as Kouzen's Bruno and the rest of Minana Archives went on to take four kills and the marksman calling GGs while Venogo was chased down by Briskzzz.
Kouzen bounced back with an MVP performance in Game 3 with a 10/2/2 KDA.
Minana Archives will take on winless AP.Bren Hornets on Tuesday, while Euphoria will try to regain their momentum against ONIC Arsenals on Wednesday..
