MANILA - Smart Omega NEOS keeps their momentum afloat as they sweep RRQ Kaito to start their Week 3 campaign of MLBB Developmental League - Philippines (MDL-PH) Season 2 on Tuesday.
Both teams, both coming off victories from their last matches, kept their main five intact, as NEOS swift past ONIC Arsenals last Thursday before RRQ Kaito gave RSG Mistah a 2-0 beatdown the same day..
It was the Barangay who came out of top in the first game with a commanding 17-8 outing, and have to trust on their late game spike as RRQ dominated the early to mid game.
A crucial kill by Louis Gabriel "Louis" Ariola to Mark Vincent "MarkTzy" Pagaduan turned the tide for the NEOS as they not only clinched the much needed lord but two more RRQ members to have the rest of the team defend to no avail.
It was Louis's Arlott who grabbed the MVP nod with eight kills and seven assists to his name.
It was a different story in the second game as the Kings of Kings were decimated by the Barangay 12-2 in under ten minutes for a wire-to-wire victory.
Louis' Gloo was the only casualty for Omega NEOS, falling down twice, while they frustrate Edferdz "Ferdz" Fernandez' Terizla and Karl Rouvic "Karl" Devosora's Franco.
It was the midlaner Ryan Michi "RayL" Asaoka's Yve who grabbed the MVP nod with seven kills and two assists.
The Kings of Kings will try to regain their momentum as they will face Minana Archives on Wednesday while Omega will face winless AP.Bren Hornets on the same day..
