MAKATI - ONIC Philippines extends their streak to three as they drub Minana EVOS in a sweep to end Day 2 of Week 3 of MPL Philippines Season 12 regular season on Saturday.

Minana EVOS went unchanged with their lineup that extends ECHO to a third Game in a losing effort on Friday, while ONIC inserted John "Perkziva" Sumawan into the lineup in place of Czedrick "Yoshinu" Romero.

The Hedgehogs went into the first game on a high note with a 14-5 drubbing of Minana EVOS, with Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez's Lylia tallying an MVP performance of two kills and 10 assists, while Perkziva's Khufra grabbed two kills and nine assists.

It was an unfortunate outing for Minana EVOS, with Borris "Brusko" Parro and Jhon Marl "Lord JM" Sebastian combining for just one kill while falling down eight times.

Minana's woes continued on the second game with ONIC Philippines only falling four times from Perkziva's Mathilda and Dean "Raizen" Sumagui's Baxia.

Kenneth "Nets" Barro came big in Game 2 with an MVP-worthy performance of seven kills and four assists with his Irithel, dealing most of the damage in the late game.

Minana was forced to have a last gasp fightback against ONIC PH but the Hedgehogs' minions sealed the deal for a 2-0 win.

Minana will next face Smart Omega to start the second round on September 30, while ONIC will see the same opponent tomorrow to wrap their first half campaign.
