MANILA - TNCZ4 escapes a pesky Blacklist International Lunatix side as they secure their third win of the MLBB Developmental League - Philippines (MDL-PH) Season 2, two games to one, to start their Week 3 campaign.
No changes were made from both teams who came from contrasting results last Wednesday with TNCZ4 coming off a 2-0 win against GameLab and Blacklist LTX falling to ECHO Proud 0-2.
The Phoenix Army take a convincing Game 1 victory, 13 kills to just Blacklist's three, with the EXP lane Fredrinn for Asi "Asi" Rodriguez not working against Ajay "Ajayy" Rubio's Gloo.
Despite Blacklist LTX's getting two of the three lords in the game, it wasn't enough with the last one falling to TNC's favor along with Avrian "Vri X" Villorente's Freya to grab thre victory, with Vincent "Yusuke" Tenedero's Kaja getting the MVP nod with a 1/0/12 KDA
The Academy did not back down this time without a fight, returning bck the favor with a 14-4 domination over the Army, with the Faramis for Eduard "Larvs" Baylen doing wonders for the latter for 20 minutes.
Rhonald "Bullet" Bacolod was untouchable in the game with five kills and seven assists in the game without falling once with the Brody armed with the Assassin emblem, taking the MVP honors.
It was all Blacklist in Game 3, who have Bullet with the Harith to go aside a full burst lineup with Paquito and Kadita, while TNC try to have a late game setup with Neal Allen "Kuro" Caca's Bruno.
Both teams engaged in a back-and-forth rubber match with Asi's Paquito saving Blacklist's series, driving all the minions away to prevent Kuro to do a tower lock.
However's Kuro's late game potential kicks in the 30th minute, taking down both Asi and John David "J.D." Osorio's Khufra, and with Jamir Vayne "Nasty Wayne" Balingit's Martis taking the lord, it all went downhill for the Academy with the Phoenix Army going straight to the Blacklist's base to finish the series, 19-17.
Kuro took the MVP nod with a 9/5/5/ KDA while Yusuke's Lolita led all players in assists with 16.
TNCZ4 will next take MHRLK Esports on Wednesday, while Blacklist Lunatix will try to get out of the cellar against ONIC Arsenals on Thursday.
