MANDAUE--Many fans were puzzled on Sunday night when TNT decided not to participate at all in the recent PBA Draft despite it being stacked on paper.

As it turned out, though, the team decided to pass because they already got what they wanted as agreed upon with Rain Or Shine.

The Elasto Painters announced on Thursday that they are sending their second-round pick, Henry Galinato, to the Tropang Giga.

ROS also traded Jewel Ponferada to TNT in the said swap while acquiring Dave Marcelo and the PLDT franchise's first-round pick for Season 50, expected to be used in 2025, in exchange.

The trade was reportedly in the works during draft night, which somehow explained why the Tropang Giga abstained from the draft, but both teams only finalized the trade package on Thursday.

The said swap is awaiting final approval from the PBA trade committee as of posting.
