QUEZON CITY - Legen-Ducky!
AP.Bren's current head coach Francis "Ducky" Glindro adds another accolade to his already accomplished resume as he was inducted into the MPL Philippines Hall of Legends prior to the Grand Finals of MPL Philippines Season 12 Sunday.
Ducky, who started his stint with Bren Esports in Season 5, became only the second coach to be inducted to the exclusive company after Brian "Panda" Lim was inducted in Season 10.
Currently on his eighth season with the Hive, Ducky has one MPL Philippines title on his cabinet when they defeated Smart Omega 4-2 in Season 6.
It was followed by grabbing his maiden international title, an M2 World Title after a seven-game classic versus Burmese Ghouls in early 2021.
Ducky's career skyrocketed in 2023 as he grabbed his first Southeast Asian Games gold medal after defeating Malaysia, and another trophy, this time in IESF Asian Qualifiers defeating Myanmar.
Leading the national team once more, he grabbed another world title with a 3-1 victory against Indonesia in the IESF World Esports Championships in Romania last September.
Ducky's induction came after a landslide result from combined votes from all MPL-PH stakeholders.
