MAKATI - Minana EVOS ends their MPL Philippines Season 12 regular season campaign after defeating fellow playoff hopefuls ONIC Philippines 2-0 on Saturday.

The hukbo returned the favor against the yellow hedgehogs after they were swept last September 23 with Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez leading the charge for the men in yellow.

Czedrick "Yoshinu" Romero started the game once more as the roamer for ONIC PH, without any changes, while Minana fielded the same roster after defeating ECHO the last time.

Minana EVOS grabbed the first game of the series with a 12-6 statement win over their opponents, with Ken Louie "Kzen" Pile's Baxia dealing four kills and seven assists in the game, while Dominic "Domeng" del Mundo's Ixia was free-hitting in the latter part of the game, contributing to a 2/0/6 KDA outing for Minana EVOS.

Yoshinu's Angela contributed to all six ONIC kills in assists but was not enough to help ONIC PH's struggle in map control, with Jem "Jem" Lanojan's rather quiet performance with 1/5/4 KDA with the Edith.

It was a low-scoring second game for both teams but Minana EVOS still came on top with a dominant 12-minute game, four kills to two, with Jhon Marl "Lord JM" Sebastian's 2/1/1 outing with the X.Borg, while Lance "LanceCy" Cunanan's midlaner Mathilda dished all four assists to his team for the win.

ONIC PH found hard time controlling the map once more despire having two healers in Faramis and Angela on substitute Ralph "Rapidoot" Adrales, who replaced Yoshinu for Game 2.

With the win, Minana EVOS ended their season with six wins and eight losses and 19 points, while ONIC drops down to provisional seventh with six wins and seven losses along with 18 points.

ONIC PH's last stand will be against playoffs-bound Smart Omega, with a win confirming their attendance in the playoffs as the last team to secure a slot.
