SAN JUAN, MM--Emilio Aguinaldo College continued to add more early woes to Letran's NCAA title defense with a 75-65 stunner on Sunday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.

In the huge win eight years in the making, the Generals pulled away late and finished the game on a 15-2 run to edge the Knights, who still led, 63-60, with 3:42 remaining.

King Gurtiza played his best game in the young NCAA season with 23 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one steal to lead EAC, which moved up to 2-0.

JP Maguliano added 14 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and one block as EAC beat Letran for the first time since 2015.

Vince Cuajao led Letran, which slid to the bottom of the team standings at 0-3, with 12 points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks.
