SAN JUAN, MM--Lyceum remains the hottest team this early in the NCAA season after clipping San Sebastian, 83-72, on Tuesday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.

Up eight, 43-35, at the half, Lyceum found itself just up by two, 74-72, with 3:38 remaining, but the team's defense went to work in the end, holding San Sebastian scoreless the rest of the way while finishing with a 9-0 run.

John Barba led the Pirates, now 4-0 in the standings, with 20 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Shawn Umali added 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and three steals, while Mac Guadana and John Bravo each had 10 markers with Bravo also grabbing 10 boards.
